Aside from controller preference, there is another good way for me to figure this out. Just hear me out. In Game Informer magazine's reviews section they have a feature called "The Edge" which points out any noticable differences between any cross platform games. They point out such things as noticably better graphics, better online functionality, framerate problems, you name it. I know a lot of folks don't like or trust Game Informer, but this is a good feature.
No, you did not hear that the makers of Bioshock were making a PS3 game. You may have heard that BioWARE were working on a PS3 game, but the are currently making Mass Effect. Bioshock is being made by Irrational Games.
Hmmm. When I only had a 360 this would have been excellent news for me. But since I bought my PS3 I've been hoping they could keep exclusives so I would feel like my investment paid off. Now to figure out which version to buy...
Good luck. You're going to need it.
It's like a B movie, but a video game. I'm gonna have to Gamefly this.
Wanna take bets on how long it takes this guy to reach one bubble?
Porting a game from PS3 to 360 wouldn't be as difficult or time consuming (expensive) as porting the other way around.
I like my Wii. That is, I would like my Wii if there were more content. Aside from Zelda, all I play on my Wii is Gamecube games. That's cool because I never had a Gamecube, but if I wanted a console where the main thing I did on it was play GC games I would have bought a GC. I figure the good games will eventually come, but most likely will be few and far between. Luckily I'll have my 360 and PS3 to keep me occupied in the meantime.
Apparently you care, or else you wouldn't be in here acting like a douchebag.
Well, maybe if you had played for any amount of time on the Xbox, you'd know that we have enough FPS that we don't find them quite so innovative anymore.
To anyone with a 360, RFOM is just another FPS. Would it do enough to truly differentiate itself if it were released on a 360? The answer is that we'd like it (because we tend to like FPS) but we probably wouldn't consider it anything new. Yes, RFOM is fun. I'm in the process of playing it right now. Gears, however is not a simpl...
Let's just hope if they get rid of him that someone more effective doesn't come around to take his place.
Some upgrade ports are good. I would have never gotten into the Metal Gear Solid series if it hadn't been for the re-release of the first one from PS1 on Gamecube using the MGS2 engine. That game hooked me and I got the others for my PS2. Now MGS4 is one of the main reasons I have a PS3. Back on topic, I had this game on Xbox and it was sick. I'll be getting Sigma for sure.
Don't forget load times.
This game impressed me enough to be one of the mandatory 5 future badass exclusives I needed in order to justify buying a PS3 in addition to my 360 and Wii. Loving my new PS3 and Resistance by the way.
It's about damn time. jk
Gameboy as a name may be dead, but it lives on in spirit as the DS. DS kicks ass.
I'd also say analog stick support is a must, but I'm sure if they remade this game they'd already know that.
I must say this game is pretty fun for how simple it is. When the 360 came out, their first XBLA hit was Geometry Wars, which was very frantic and fast paced. flOw, on the other hand, is exactly the opposite. Both are quite entertaining and definitely worth their price.
...life could be simple.
I still play it when I have 5 or 10 minutes to blow.
Hell yeah. I'd buy the original Quake. More fun than Doom if you ask me.
MS or Sony buying TT would be fine by me. Hell, have them go 50/50 on it for all I care. I'll be able to play no matter what. Just keep EA's grubby mitts off of this.
